V Nexteria Leadership Academy (NLA) sme oficiálne otvorili letný semester. Počas skúškového obdobia (od polovice decembra do polovice februára) prebieha minimum aktivít a práve Kick off letného semestra dal študentom a študentkám NLA možnosť po dlhšej dobe stretnúť svojich spolužiakov a spolužiačky v príjemnej atmosfére.

Tomu, samozrejme, v NLA rozumieme a študentom dávame priestor sústrediť sa na to, čo je pre nich dôležité. Častokrát je to práve vysokoškolské štúdium. Po tom, čo úspešne uzavrú zimné semestre, je čas vrátiť sa späť. A tento veľkolepý návrat NLA do každodenných študentských životov musíme predsa poriadne osláviť!

Februára sa v našich priestoroch stretlo približne 50 študentov a študentiek. Po dlhšej dobe sa na jednej kope vyskytli naši prváci, druháci, tretiaci a dokonca aj alumni NLA. O zábavu, samozrejme, nebola núdza. Mladí ľudia plní entuziazmu vytvorili skvelú atmošku, v miestnostiach sa ozývali výbuchy smiechu.

Opäť mali možnosť zistiť, koľko spoločného toho majú napriek tomu, že je každý z nich úplne iný. Diverzita je v NLA jednou z najväčších pridaných hodnôt a komunita zložená zo silných, no rozdielných osobností posilňuje ducha, ktorého študenti medzi sebou majú.

Zaujímavé dáta z prieskumov či feedbackov z uplynulého semestra donútili v dobrom študentov a študentky sa zamyslieť aj nad vážnejšími témami. V NLA je témou tohto roka “Bezpečné prostredie” a práve tejto oblasti sa týkala záverečná diskusia v malých skupinách s členmi tímu.

V skupinách následne rozobrali, čo môžu oni ako jednotlivci robiť alebo nerobiť pre to, aby sa každý v komunite cítil “safe”. Výsledky svojich diskusií odprezentovali ostatným, ktorí sa mohli dopýtať otázky, ak im bolo niečo nejasné. Uvedomili si, že pocit bezpečia v komunite chce zažiť každý a je len na nás, či sa ostatní takto pri nás budú cítiť.

Priestory, v ktorých sa program konal, sa zmenili na útulné miesto, o ktorom by nikto nepovedal, že sa v ňom inokedy konajú oficiálne a formálne stretnutia a aktivity.

Sviečky spravili prítmie, ktoré navodilo útulnú a intímnu atmosféru každému rozhovoru.

Čerstvé bagety a hranolky potešili každého, kto sa pred Kick offom nestihol navečerať.

Som rada, že bol čas na neštruktúrované rozhovory. Aktivita o bezpečnom prostredí mi pripomenula, že keď sa nám niečo nechce rozoberať, možno by sme práve preto mali – napriek tomu, že je to ťažké.”
